On the Mark Solutions began in 2004 with the goal of providing custom programming to the hospitality industry. Our first customers at OTMS were restaurants and we have since worked with bars, resorts, assisted living facilities, casinos and more to improve all aspects of managing a business. Our Management Team
Mark Tutt
President, Chief Software Architect
Mark Tutt is the President of our company, and Chief Software Architect. He started On the Mark Solutions back in 2004 after 7 years of working at Micros systems as a Senior Software Engineer. Prior to working in software he worked for years in the hospitality industry as a chef and hotel and restaurant manager. His goal for our now worldwide custom software development company was to make POS systems integration and custom feature development available to a wider customer base. He is based out of Wisconsin and is most likely the first person you will interact with at OTMS when inquiring about your development needs.
Malinda Tutt
Chief Financial Officer
Malinda Tutt is our Chief Financial Officer and has been with the company since it began. She began her career in hospitality accounting and previously worked for a large printing and advertising corporation.
Katie Tutt
Sales and Marketing Manager
Katie Tutt started with OTMS in 2021 and is developing and executing marketing plans for the OTMS product and services offerings to attract potential customers through new channels. She is responsible for generating press releases, social media and blog posts for building awareness of the various projects OTMS works on.
Derek Balsdon
Director of Product Development
Derek Balsdon has been creating integration solutions for hospitality software for over 20 years. Derek is now Director of Product Development for OTMS. Prior to OTMS, Derek provided Enterprise integrations for Oracle/micros customers in the Asia Pacific region. Derek was previously employed by micros as Asia Pacific Development manager from 2003-2006.
Lance Emerich
Director of Operations
Lance Emerich started with OTMS in 2018 and is now the Director of Operations, focused on managing the process of 100s of interface implementations per year, along with providing support to a long roster of OTMS clients. Prior to OTMS, Lance worked for MICROS Systems, Inc. (now Oracle Hospitality) from 1996-2014, SkyWire, Inc., from 2014-2016, and Agilysys, Inc. from 2016-2018.
